01 — ABOUT

An export partner, not a middleman.

AFGEM was founded to solve a recurring problem in international trade: buyers rarely struggle to find products, they struggle to find suppliers they can rely on twice. We work between manufacturers and international buyers, taking responsibility for sourcing, quality verification, documentation and delivery.

Our work spans food, technology and textile categories. In each, the method is the same — understand the requirement precisely, select the right production capacity, control the process, and keep the buyer informed until the shipment arrives.

Vision

To be the export partner international buyers return to, because the second order runs as cleanly as the first.

Mission

To connect capable manufacturers with global demand through disciplined sourcing, transparent communication and controlled export operations.

Values

Accuracy before speed. Clarity in every commitment. Accountability for what leaves our hands.

02 — WHY AFGEM

Reasons buyers keep the relationship.

One counterpart, several categories

Consolidating food, technology and textile sourcing under one export partner reduces the number of contracts, contacts and risks you manage.

Operational discipline

Every order follows the same defined stages, from specification to delivery, so nothing depends on improvisation or a single person's memory.

Transparent communication

Clear pricing structure, realistic lead times and early notice when something changes. We would rather report a delay than explain one afterwards.

Accountability after shipment

Our involvement does not end at the port. We stay with the file through documentation, arrival and the next production cycle.

03 — SECTORS

Three categories, one standard of execution.

01

Food

Food export is decided by consistency and paperwork. We select producers whose capacity matches the order size, align packaging, labelling and shelf-life with the destination market's requirements, and coordinate temperature-sensitive handling where the product demands it. Each shipment is prepared with its documentation complete before it moves.

  • Producer selection
  • Market-compliant labelling
  • Cold chain coordination
  • Export documentation
02

Technology

Technology sourcing is a compliance exercise as much as a commercial one. We supply electronic and hardware products specified for their destination market — voltage and plug standards, certification requirements, language of packaging and manuals, warranty terms. Serial-level traceability and secure packing are treated as part of the specification, not an afterthought.

  • Market-spec configuration
  • Certification alignment
  • Traceable batches
  • Protective packing
03

Textile

In textile, the distance between sample and bulk production is where most relationships break. We build a controlled chain between manufacturer and buyer: fabric and construction confirmed against the approved sample, size sets verified, production monitored during the run, and inspection carried out before the goods are packed for export.

  • Sample to bulk control
  • Fabric verification
  • In-line production follow-up
  • Pre-shipment inspection

04 — PROCESS

How an order moves from request to delivery.

  1. STEP 01

    Requirement definition

Specification, volume, destination market and timeline agreed in writing before anything is sourced.

  2. STEP 02

    Sourcing & planning

Producers matched to the requirement, costs structured, and a production plan set against the delivery date.

  3. STEP 03

    Quality & operations control

Production followed during the run and inspected against the approved specification before packing.

  4. STEP 04

    Logistics & export

Route, incoterms and documentation handled together so customs clearance is not left to chance.

  5. STEP 05

    Delivery & continuity

Arrival confirmed, feedback recorded, and the next cycle planned on what the last one taught us.

05 — GLOBAL REACH

Built around the corridors our partners trade on.

We develop our network around demand rather than geography for its own sake. When a buyer opens a new market, we extend the supply, freight and documentation chain to reach it — working with forwarders, inspection bodies and customs agents already established in that corridor.

06 — STANDARDS

The commitments behind every shipment.

Quality & trust

Quality is defined in writing at the start and checked against that definition before shipment. Where a claim cannot be verified, we do not make it — to our buyers or on their behalf.

Logistics & operations

Freight mode, packing configuration and documentation are planned as one decision. A single point of contact holds the file from purchase order to arrival.

Responsible trade

We favour producers who meet their legal and labour obligations, consolidate shipments where it reduces unnecessary freight, and keep packaging to what the product genuinely requires.

07 — FAQ

Questions buyers ask first.

How do we start working together?

Send us the product, quantity and destination market through the form below. We come back with feasibility, an indicative cost structure and a realistic timeline before any commitment is made.

Do you work with minimum order quantities?

Minimums are set by the producer and the product, not by us. We tell you the threshold for your specification up front, and where volumes are low we look at consolidation options.

Which incoterms do you work with?

We quote on the terms that suit your operation, most commonly FOB, CFR, CIF or DAP. Terms are agreed before pricing so responsibility and cost are clear on both sides.

Can you supply against our own specification?

Yes. Working from your technical sheet, sample or private-label requirement is our preferred route, because it removes ambiguity from quality control later.

How is quality controlled before shipment?

Production is followed during the run and inspected against the approved specification before packing. Where you require an independent inspection body, we coordinate it.

Are you open to supplier partnerships?

Yes. Manufacturers with export capacity in our categories can reach us through the same form — select partnership as the subject and describe your production profile.

08 — CONTACT

Tell us what you need to source.
